Montana’s Kitchen Dwellers have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a forthcoming studio album entitled Muir Maid. In addition, the group recently confirmed an extensive fall tour.

“We’ve recruited Chris Pandolfi of the Infamous Stringdusters to produce the album and he has brought in some of the finest folks around to help in making our vision a reality,” wrote Kitchen Dwellers on their Kickstarter page. “We are very proud and excited with the way this record is sounding and we cannot wait to share it with you!”

Kitchen Dwellers are aiming to raise $25,000 to help pay for studio time, engineering, mixing and mastering, production, publicity and distribution. Various rewards for those who pledge at various levels include merch, a thank you note, a digital download of an unreleased live album, music lessons, meet and greets, the ability to write a setlist for an upcoming concert and an “Ultimate VIP Package.”

The quartet’s fall tour begins with a pair of home state shows at Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, Montana September 6 – 7 and continues with a swing through the Northeast. Kitchen Dwellers then head to the Mid-Atlantic for concerts in Wilkes-Barre (Pennsylvania), Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Richmond, Greensboro and Charleston. A trip to Colorado includes performances in Denver and Fort Collins ahead of the band’s appearance at The Hillberry Harvest Moon Festival on October 13. More shows in Montana will be followed by a run opening for The Infamous Stringdusters and a batch of concerts in the Midwest. Tickets are on sale now.
