Australia’s King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard followed the release of their first new music since 2017 by announcing an extensive summer tour of North America. The band’s most ambitious tour of the continent yet includes two nights at SVN West in San Francisco, the room that was formerly the Fillmore West. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard kick off the tour at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on August 13. The band then heads to SVN West — which has a capacity of up to 4,000 — on August 14 and 15. Next up is a Pacific Northwest swing including stops in Portland, Vancouver, Seattle and Salt Lake City. On August 21, the group will play at venue to be announced in Denver. It’s then off to the Midwest for stops in Milwaukee and Chicago.

The Aussie rockers continue the tour in Montreal on August 26 before a Northeast run that features visits to New Haven, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard next move south for concerts in Asheville on September 1, Atlanta on September 2, New Orleans on September 3, Austin on September 4 and Dallas on September 6. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 8.
