Kenny Chesney will become the first country artist to perform at Sphere in Las Vegas this spring when he launches a 12-show residency at the technologically-advanced venue. Chesney will play Sphere on May 22, 24, 25, 28 and 30 as well as June 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14.

“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said in regards to performing for his devoted fanbase at Sphere. “Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives. When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.”

“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in,” Chesney added. “Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”

The concerts have been in the works for nearly a year. Kenny Chesney and his team will develop a whole new way to experience his music in partnership with experts from the next-level venue. Chesney will perform songs from throughout his vast catalog to treat fans to a fully immersive and completely unique experience.

Tickets for the 12-show residency go on sale Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m. PT.

U2 opened the Sphere in September 2023. Phish, Dead & Company, Anyma and Eagles have also performed at the high-tech venue.
