Kendra & The Bunnies Share ‘More Like Christmas’ Holiday Single
Kendra & the Bunnies are back with a new single to get you rocking around the Christmas tree this holiday season. Written in collaboration with Corey Lee Barker (MC1 Nashville) and Justine Blazer (Sony Music, Grammy member), Kendra’s newest holiday single “More Like Christmas” soothes the soul with sultry roots-rock vocals, cheerful lyrics, and full band instrumentation, including a few sleigh bells!
Produced at Ten7Teen Studios in Nashville, “More Like Christmas” represents a move into a more mainstream country-pop direction for Kendra & the Bunnies, while she maintains her foundation in the jam-rock scene. The group is led by Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, writer, actress, and published author Kendra Muecke. As Kendra & the Bunnies, she has released two full-length albums, an EP, plus additional singles and remixes.
Upcoming in January, Kendra & the Bunnies will also issue a remix EP entitled of Remix une. The three-song release features tracks off the 2020 Kendra & the Bunnies album of Thank You, remixed to the beat of chill melodic dubstep.
Kendra & the Bunnies’ next full-length album will be recorded at the infamous Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco with Trent Berry of Dreamrack Studios. The Grateful Dead, CCR, Jefferson Airplane, Tupac, Kanye West, Cake and more have recorded at Hyde Street. Following that in May 2021, she plans to record a four-song EP with producer, songwriter, artist, and Grammy Recording Academy member Justine Blazer at Ten7Teen Studios Nashville.
Recently, her song “NYKO, NYKO” featuring Marcus Rezak and Garrett Morris charted globally at #8 on the digital radio charts (DRT). Kendra has also worked under contract with The Orchard (Sony Music Group) for the distribution of her single “Silent Sleeper,” and in 2020, Kendra signed a non-exclusive sync licensing deal with SoStereo.
In June 2020, following the spirit of transformation, Kendra launched the “We Are One Benefit” via her indie record label and promotions company, New Age Wasteland Productions. The second episode of this event is scheduled for December 30 and will be raising money and awareness for current causes including the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and #WeMakeEvents. The first episode in June benefitted the NAACP and ACLU. Follow Kendra on social media for details on this upcoming event (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Website).
