Kashus Culpepper made his late-night television debut on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Alabama-born crooner played “Man Of His Word,” a song featured on his debut studio album.

Culpepper released Act 1 last month via Big Loud Records to critical acclaim and raves from fans. The 18-song collection was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with producer Brian Elmquist. Culpepper co-wrote all 18 songs with the likes of Natalie Hemby, Matt Warren and Jacob Durrett. Sierra Ferrell and Marcus King made guest appearances on Act 1.

“Creating music has been the greatest joy of my life,” Culpepper shared. “What a magical thing it is. My debut album Act I serves as a beginning of that journey.”

Kashus Culpepper penned “Man Of His Word” with Natalie Hemby. “My new song ‘Man of His Word’ is about the one thing we all need, which is having someone we can trust,” stated Culpepper when the single arrived last May. “We can all relate to that.”
