Following the “Run of the Mill,” Rykman led her band through the debut of “I’ll Be Your Jonny on the Spot.” Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz was a mentor figure to Rykman and she has a few Ween covers in her repertoire. Rykman notched another in the track off the band’s 1999 LP, The Mollusk.

Toward the end of the set Rykman rolled out a cover of the Cardigans’ “Lovefool.” The song originally appears on the Swedish band’s 1996 LP, First Band on the Moon, and also on the iconic soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.
For the debut at Webster Hall, Karina welcomed Marlo Shankweiler of NYC-based band Melt. Following the Cardigans premiere, Karina offered “Atom Dance” and Joyride cut “Elevator.” For the finale, Rykman loaded the stage with guests and fronted the band on the Beck classic “Loser.”
