Red Hot Chili Peppers played a concert on Tuesday night at Yaamava’ Theater near San Bernardino, California. The band was joined by saxophonist Kamasi Washington who augmented a performance of “Aquatic Mouth Dance.”

Red Chili Peppers are touring in support of their 2022 album, Unlimited Love. “Aquatic Mouth Dance” appeared on the Rick Rubin-produced album, which featured a guest horn section on the studio track. Tuesday’s setlist also featured Unlimited Love tracks “Black Summer” and “Here Ever After.”

The rest of Tuesday’s concert was made up of songs from across the eclectic RHCP catalog, including “Eddie,” a tribute to Eddie Van Halen from their other 2022 album, Return Of The Dream Canteen. Favorites like “Give It Away,” “Under The Bridge,” “Californication” and “Dani California” were also among the selections played at Tuesday’s show.

RCHP bassist Flea called it a “deep honor” to play with Washington, who reciprocated by calling the collaboration an “honor” as well. Watch Kamasi Washington join Red Hot Chili Peppers on “Aquatic Mouth Dance” below:
