Watch Kacey Musgraves Reveal Special Location Of Joint Smoked With Willie Nelson On ‘Howard Stern’

The acclaimed singer-songwriter also performed the title track from her new album, Deeper Well, a Bob Marley cover and more.

Kacey Musgraves made her debut guest appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Monday, where she performed and also chatted with the host. Among the topics discussed was smoking a joint with Willie Nelson on his notorious tour bus.

Musgraves explained that one of her first tours was with Willile Nelson and Alison Krauss. Willie “twisted one up” and she and others got stoned with the legendary pothead on his tour bus. Kacey said that she “broke through the space fabric” and that the experience led her to record and film a video for the 1965 Nelson classic, “Are You Sure,” with Willie.

Musgraves also revealed what she did with the rest of the joint she smoked with her fellow Texan. Watch the segment below.

Additionally, the singer-songwriter performed the title track from her new album, Deeper Well, along with “Rainbow” off her Grammy-nominated 2020 LP, Golden Hour. Kacey also offered her cover of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” which appears on Bob Marley: One Love (Music Inspired by the Film), a companion EP for the new Marley biopic.
