Watch Kacey Musgraves’ Dreamy Performance Of ‘The Architect’ On ‘Fallon’

Kacey Musgraves was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month. The acclaimed singer-songwriter shared her Tonight Show performance of “The Architect’ via her YouTube channel.

“The Architect” appears on Musgraves’ new album, Deeper Well, which arrived on March 15. Musgraves captured the LP at New York City’s famed Electric Lady studio and the folksy record saw her drawing inspiration from the energy and rich musical history of Manhattan’s Greenwich Village where Electric Lady is located.

Upon announcing the LP in February, Musgraves stated that Deeper Well focuses “on moments of life that often go unnoticed… Saturn returns, cardinals embody a dead friend, love is given and taken, streets rush by, belongings are packed and old chapters deserted, new love blooms, jade bracelets serve as talismans, deep lessons emerge, small details define everything, the woods are a refuge and New York City serves as the same gleaming beacon as Oz.”

Musgraves traded Greenwich for Midtown Manhattan when she took The Tonight Show stage at 30 Rock on March 14, one day ahead of a Deeper Well’s release. Watch the singer-songwriter perform the LP’s “The Architect” below:
