Julien Baker and TORRES pulled the plug on the remaining May dates of a recently launched tour in support of their collaborative country album, Send A Prayer My Way. The cancellations were announced via an Instagram post shared on Sunday (May 4) by both artists.

“Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health,” the note started. “Therefore, the Julien Baker & TORRES ‘Send A Prayer My Way’ Tour has been canceled. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding.”

Baker and TORRES last took the stage on Thursday (May 1) for a joint concert at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. The pair published the statement before their Sunday night show in San Antonio, the first of the dates to be canceled. The tour began on April 23 in Richmond (Virginia) and was previously scheduled to run through now-scrapped sets at Kilby Block Party and Wonderfront later this month.

The duo is slated to perform at several festivals this summer, including Zootown, Newport Folk and Outside Lands. The appearances are still listed on Baker and TORRES’ website as of press time.
