SiriusXM Launches The Joni Mitchell Channel
The limited engagement channel features hits, home recordings, live performances and more from throughout the legendary musician’s career.

Today, SiriusXM began airing The Joni Mitchell Channel today via the SXM app. The limited engagement channel will be broadcast on the SXM app through Tuesday, April 14 with a run on satellite (ch. 105) airing from Wednesday, March 30 until Tuesday, April 5 and comes as the legendary musician will be feted on April 1 as the 2022 Person of the Year recipient at The Recording Academy’s MusiCares charity event.
Listeners to The Joni Mitchell Channel will hear music from throughout the famed artist’s career, including recordings Joni made at home, live cuts and rarities featured in the recent Joni Mitchell Archives collection. Additionally, the station will air covers of Mitchell’s music made by the likes of Brandi Carlile, Bob Dylan, Elton John and Chaka Khan. Look for guest hosts to spin their favorite Joni Mitchell songs and explain how Joni influenced their own work.
