Jon Batiste was among the performers at Coachella over the weekend at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The acclaimed composer delivered his performance from the Outdoor Theatre and welcomed Juvenile and WILLOW during his set.

Jon kicked off his first weekend Coachella play with “TELL THE TRUTH” and “FREEDOM” from his 2021 album WE ARE, which garnered Batiste the coveted Album of the Year Grammy Award.

The musician then turned to his latest studio album, World Music Radio (nominated for AOTY), with “Radiance” and “Worship.” Watch Jon show off his many talents in the stunning “Worship” performance below:

Next, Jon nodded to his hometown of New Orleans with “When The Saints Go Marching In.” Following the latter, Batiste played the sultry melody for Juvenile’s ubiquitous hit, “Back That Azz Up,” on his trusty melodica as Jon’s fellow NOLA native emerged to deliver the track off his 1998 album 400 Degreez.
