John Summit continues his rise from accountant to global house music superstardom with CTRL ESCAPE, a new album due out on Experts Only/Darkroom Records on April 15. The release date and album title announcements follow the recent release of “LIGHTS GO OUT,” the first taste of the forthcoming record.

Summit’s upcoming LP builds on themes explored on his 2024 debut, Comfort In Chaos, this time contrasting the grind of daily routine with the freedom of the dancefloor. CTRL ESCAPE mirrors his own evolution from CPA to artist, presenting music as both escape and shared experience where euphoria fuels connection and release.

John Summit is said to showcase broader influences on the boundry-pushing CTRL ESCAPE as he incorporates new sounds into his music. He’ll issue a new single every other Wednesday to promote the album’s Tax Day release.
