Vocalist/harmonica maestro John Popper will embark on a series of solo dates next month. Popper’s solo run comes ahead of his main band, Blues Traveler’s 30th Anniversary Tour this fall.
The intimate June John Popper shows will find him joined by Blues Traveler band mate Ben Wilson on piano and backing vocals. Look for the stripped down sets to include both solo material and tunes from the Blue Traveler catalog. Popper kicks off the run at the Admiral Theater in Bremerton, Washington on June 3. From there, John will play the California cities of Agoura Hills (June 7), Nevada City (June 8), San Juan Capistrano (June 9) and Hermosa Beach (June 11). The tour is currently set to conclude at BLK Live in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 14.
