John Mayer Performs Cozy Solo Acoustic ‘Waitin’ On The Day’ On ‘Colbert’

John Mayer used a day off from his first solo acoustic tour on Tuesday to serve as the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Mayer delivered a solo acoustic version of “Waitin’ On The Day” for last night’s episode of the CBS late night talk show.

“Waitin’ On The Day” appears on John Mayer’s 2013 studio album, Paradise Valley. Mayer played the song at the opening night of his solo tour in Newark last Saturday and again on Monday at Boston’s TD Garden. The tour resumes tonight, Wednesday, March 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
