John Mayer Taps Billy Joel For Launch Of ‘How’s Life’ Interview Series

John Mayer will launch a new interview series, “How’s Life,” with legendary pianist and singer-songwriter Billy Joel. The series is set to premiere on Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28) at 8 p.m. ET following the guitarist’s regulary scheduled programming on SiriusXM’s Life With John Mayer channel (ch. 14).

Mayer embarks on the new interview series one year after launching the Life With John Mayer channel on SiriusXM, which sees the musician playing music not curated by genre but by time of day and day of the week.

How’s Life adds a discussion angle to Life With John Mayer and begins in conversation with Billy Joel where the musicians will talk Joel’s amazing career, excellent catalog and more. The interview will also feature a “never-before-heard tune,” as per a press release.

Mayer and Joel also delve into interesting topics such as the “curse” of being a songwriter and being uncomfortable with one’s voice. Check out some preview clips below:
