John Fogerty Taps Grace Potter & Tedeschi Trucks Band As Support At Woodstock Site
Legendary performer John Fogerty will headline a performance at Bethel Woods Center For The Arts in Bethel, New York, which is located on the site where the famed Woodstock festival took place in 1969. Fogerty played Woodstock with Creedence Clearwater Revival and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic concert during “My 50 Year Trip” on August 18. Grace Potter and Tedeschi Trucks Band have been tapped as support.
John Fogerty is expected to mirror the set CCR played at Woodstock on August 16, 1969. “Born On The Bayou,” “Green River,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary” and “I Put A Spell On You” are among the songs Creedence performed during a late-night/early-morning appearance at Woodstock that followed the Grateful Dead’s set. Tickets for “My 50 Year Trip” are on sale now here.
