Joe Walsh has recruited ZZ Top, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit as part of the lineup for the 2019 VetsAid benefit. The concert will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston on November 10 and each act will perform a set.

Walsh, whose father was a flight instructor for the U.S. military who died in active service during World War II when Joe was just 20 months old, founded VetsAid in 2017. The national 501(c)3 non-profit raises and donates money to veterans groups “across the country that are serving the men and women who served our country with the dignity, compassion and honor they deserve.”

“It’s about time we brought VetsAid down to Texas and who better to share the stage with than my old buddies and Houston’s own ZZ Top! With Brad, Sheryl, Jason and more special guests to be announced joining us too this will be yet another historic night of incredible music for our vets,” said Walsh in a statement. “This is a night where all are welcome to celebrate the things that unite us as Americans: good friends, open hearts and great music!”

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 16 at 10 a.m. CT. Proceeds from this year’s third annual VetsAid will go towards Houston-area veterans’ service charities selected through a vetting process coordinated with the National Association Of Veterans Serving Organization.
