Joe Walsh & Glenn Schwartz Join The Arcs At Coachella

On Saturday, The Arcs performed at this year’s first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. During their set at the Mojave Tent, guitarist Dan Auerbach was joined by a pair of veteran axemen as Joe Walsh and Glenn Schwartz sat-in for a pair of songs.
The Black Keys frontman led his group through several songs off of last year’s debut LP Yours, Dreamily including “Velvet Ditch,” “Put a Flower in Your Pocket,” and “ Stay in My Corner,” among a few others. Toward the end of the set, Eagles guitarist Walsh emerged with Schwartz, who Walsh both learned to play guitar from and replaced in the James Gang in the late 1960s, to guest with the group. The trio of guitarists reportedly recorded together in Nashville earlier this year, and on Saturday performed Schwartz’s “Fear & Doom” and “Water Street” before the guests turned the stage back over to The Arcs.
