Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Adds May 2025 Tour Dates
The Grateful Dead tribute act will perform in Virginia Beach, Virginia; Asbury Park, New Jersey and New Haven, Connecticut to start Memorial Day Weekend.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead continues to fill out their 2025 touring schedule with the announcement of three new shows in May. The three-city swing will focus on the Northeast leading into Memorial Day Weekend between May 22 – 24, 2025.
The quintet consisting of namesake drummer Joe Russo, guitarists Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton, bassist Dave Dreiwitz and keyboardist Marco Benevento will start the brief run on May 22 at The Dome in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The show will mark the group’s debut performance in Virginia Beach.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead then returns to The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on May 23, a venue the Grateful Dead tribute act first played back on May 17, 2024. Finally, the band wraps the short excursion on May 24 with their fifth annual visit to New Haven, Connecticut’s Westville Music Bowl.
An Artist Presale begins on Wednesday, December 11 at 12 p.m. ET with the password to be shared on the Almost Dead Facebook Page at that time. General on-sales for all three shows follow on Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. ET.
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will kick off their 2025 from January 17 – 19 with the band’s annual three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Other dates on the books include a February run on Atlanta and early May performances in Austin and New Orleans.
