Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Shares Terrapin Station Suite

This Friday and Saturday Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will play their first shows outside of the Northeast, when they visit Concord Music Hall in Chicago. Yesterday, the band unveiled the latest installment of Rad Tracks Tuesday by sharing pro-shot video of the 30-minute “Terrapin Station Suite” from last December’s show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester as well as a free download of the track.

The band, which features Russo along with Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, Tom Hamilton and Dave Dreiwitz, rolled through each and every segment from the Dead’s studio version of “Terrapin Station” including the “Terrapin Transit” segment that Jerry Garcia and Co. only performed once live.
