Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Performs ‘Mission In The Rain’ In 2019: Pro-Shot Video

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead released pro-shot video of “Mission In The Rain” from 2019. The footage comes from the Grateful Dead tribute act’s March 14 show that year at the College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut.

The Hunter/Garcia song “Mission In The Rain” originally appears on Jerry Garcia’s 1976 solo record, Reflections. While it remained a staple for the Jerry Garcia Band thereafter, the Grateful Dead only played the song five times, all in June 1976, as per Dead.net.
