Joe Russo To Debut New Project On Wednesday

Furthur/Almost Dead drummer Joe Russo will debut a project called “Joe Russo’s Icy Bridge” on Wednesday, May 13. The group is expected to perform for 45 minutes starting around 8 p.m. at Freddy’s Bar And Backroom in Brooklyn, New York as part of a free event dubbed “Back Room Bang Up!”

Russo notes the new project will present “fully improvised experiments” with Joe providing drums, electronics and loops. He will be joined by Jonathan Goldberger on guitar and “sonic bliss” for the group’s maiden voyage. The event will also feature Adam Bernstein and Old Rugged Sauce.
