Russo recruited Stuart Bogie (reeds/flute), Erik Deutsch (keyboards), Jonathan Goldberger (guitar), Dave Harrington (bass), Kevin Kendrick (vibraphone/percussion) and Jordan McLean (trumpet) to perform Garcia and Wales’ acclaimed 1971 fusion album Hooteroll?. In addition to performing the LP in full, the announcement promised “other likeminded compositions” will be played as well.
The webcast is currently available for pre-order here. Look for the broadcast to begin at 8 p.m. on April 7.
