Joe Russo Announces ‘Hooteroll? + Plus!’ Concert At Brooklyn Bowl

Drummer Joe Russo will present “Hooteroll? + Plus!,” in which he’ll lead a band in exploring the works of Jerry Garcia and Howard Wales and others on Sunday, January 12 at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. The concert is part of the NYC Winter Jazz Fest.

Russo will be joined by Erik Deutsch, Jonathan Goldberger, Dave Harrington, Kevin Kendrick and Jordan McLean for the second ever “Hooteroll? + Plus!” performance. The band last played their tribute to Garcia and Wales’ 1971 album at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on April 7, 2017. The Bogie Band featuring Joe Russo will kick off the festivities.

A Winter Jazzfest pre-sale begins here this Wednesday, November 6 at 12 p.m. ET and will be followed by a venue pre-sale on Thursday, November 7 at 12 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 8 at 12 p.m. ET via Ticketweb.
