Jimmy Fallon, The Roots & ‘Star Wars’ Cast Sing Theme Song

We’re just a few short days away from the release of the long-awaited new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens. Last night cast members of the film appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as part of a segment in which they teamed with Fallon and The Roots to present an a capella rendition of the John Williams composed Star Wars theme song.

Kudos to Fallon’s team for scoring appearances from most of The Force Awakens big stars including Lupita Nyong’o, John Boyega and Harrison Ford as well as characters such as Chewbacca and the droids. We particularly dig the “Cantina Band” tease. Watch how it went down:
