Jhené Aiko Giving New Life To Previously-Canceled The Magic Hour Tour

The R&B artist’s 2021 trek of the same name was canceled due to COVID-19.

R&B artist Jhené Aiko is bringing back her Magic Hour Tour, which was previously canceled in 2021 due to COVID-19. The North American trek gets underway in June and stretches into August with support from Coi Leray, Tink, Umi and Kiana Ledé.

Jhené Aiko took to social media on February 17, 2021 to share the news that the original Magic Hour Tour was canceled “due to circumstances beyond [her] control.”

Aiko released her NAACP Image Award-winning album, Chilombo, in the early stages of COVID-19 in March 2020. The singer-songwriter’s latest single, “Sun/Son” arrived in January 2024.

Aiko now has her chance to revisit the Magic Hour Tour, which kicks off on June 19 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit ahead of a concert in Chicago.

It’s then on to the East Coast with stops in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston and Brooklyn among others. Aiko and company come to Toronto on July 2.

Next, a southern swing with engagements in Orlando, the Miami area, Houston, Fort Wort, Austin and Atlanta. August 1 will see Aiko in Phoenix followed by West Coast dates in San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland and Las Vegas.

Concerts in West Valley (Utah), Denver, Kansas City and Minneapolis follow. The Magic Hour Tour concludes on August 22 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

A presale starts Wednesday, March 27 at 10 a.m.local time. General onsales get underway on Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. local time.
