Jennifer Lopez Opens ‘Up All Night Live In Las Vegas’ Residency With Broadway & Lana Del Rey Covers

Jennifer Lopez launched her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace on Saturday, December 30. The New York City native included Broadway show tunes along with a Lana Del Rey cover in her opening setlist for the run stretching into March.

Lopez split the show into four acts, with the first titled “I’ll See You in My Dreams.” She fittingly opened the concert with “Let Me Entertain You,” with music written by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim for the musical Gypsy.

JLo also included elements of “Mambo” from West Side Story in a cover of dance-pop group 3rd Party’s “Waiting for Tonight.” Additionally, the first act also contained the jazz remix of Lopez’s 2002 hit “Jenny From the Block.”

Other Broadway numbers touched on included “Kiss of the Spider Woman” and “Whatever Lola Wants,” which resided in the third act, “Kiss Kiss Kill Kill.” Act three also saw Lopez nodding to fellow New York native Lana Del Rey with a rendition of “Young and Beautiful.”

To close the concert, JLo delivered the iconic song “Don’t Rain On My Parade” from the musical Funny Girl. She then sealed the show with her 2000 hit, “Let’s Get Loud,” in which she included a “Don’t Rain On My Parade” reprise.
