Jelly Roll honored local Detroit icon Bob Seger during his concert last night at Little Caesars Arena. Tour mate ERNEST got in on the action to assist on a cover of “Against The Wind.”
Jelly Roll announced to the audience that Wednesday’s concert was The Beautifully Broken Tour’s largest crowd to date. The tour takes its name from Jelly Roll’s 2024 album, Beautifully Broken.

Midway into his main set, Jelly Roll dialed up “Old Time Rock And Roll,” which was a hit for Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band in 1979. Jelly Roll then covered Seger’s “Turn The Page,” a song he also performed in June at the Michigan Grand Central Station reopening concert in Detroit. Jelly Roll ended the Seger tribute by bringing out fellow Nashville native ERNEST for a collaborative take on Seger’s classic “Against The Wind.”
The Beautifully Broken Tour, which also features support from Shaboozey and Allie Colleen, continues tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
