Iconic guitarist Jeff Beck has revealed plans for a new album, a new book and a tour in support of both. The new studio LP will be issued on July 15, while the book BECK01 will be out on July 12. The tour will feature the legendary musician alongside fellow veteran guitarist Buddy Guy and begins July 19.

Beck’s new (currently untitled) record will be his first since releasing Emotion & Commotion in 2010. The autobiography will detail his love of music and hot rods, and will be released by Genesis Publications as a limited, signed and numbered, hand-bound in leather and aluminum book. Additionally, BECK01 features more than 400 new images and a foreword written by John McLaughlin.

The recently revealed co-tour with Buddy Guy includes a handful of just-added new stops to go along with a special evening at the Hollywood Bowl on August 10 in celebration of 50 years of “dynamic music making.” The two-time Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee will also make a number of solo appearances in July and August, with Beck’s tour scheduled to wrap with a show at Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo Amphitheater on August 21.
