Last night’s episode of the The Late Show With Stephen Colbert featured Jason Isbell as the musical guest. The singer-songwriter performed “If It Takes A Lifetime” off his latest LP Something More Than Free.
After taping his appearance at the iconic Ed Sullivan Theater, Isbell moved across town to another storied NYC venue, playing the first show of a two-night stand at the Beacon Theatre. Isbell is coming off a pair of Grammy Award wins, recently being honored for Best Americana Album for Something More Than Free and Best American Roots Song for “24 Frames.”
