Jason Isbell Appears On ‘The Off Camera Show’

Jason Isbell was a recent guest on The Off Camera Show. The singer-songwriter performed a song on acoustic guitar and discussed a variety of topics with the show’s host Sam Jones.

Isbell performed his touching original “If We Were Vampires,” which was recorded on his acclaimed 2017 album The Nashville Sound. Jones and Isbell talked about the latter’s process for writing the song.

The pair also discussed Isbell’s decision to pursue a career as a musician, what he’s learned from the process of crafting songs, self-criticism, the corporate side of the music business and more.
