Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit swung by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform the classic “Cover Me Up” for Tuesday’s episode. The band also showed off more recent fare by playing “King Of Oklahoma.”
“Cover Me Up” is featured on Southeastern, a Jason Isbell album released on Southeastern Records in 2013. Isbell put out an expanded deluxe edition of Southeastern back in September to celebrate the record’s 10th anniversary complete with live recordings and previously unreleased demos as well as a remastered version of the original LP.

Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit put out their latest studio album, Weathervanes, this past June. “King Of Oklahoma” is among the 13 tracks featured on the record.
