Japanese Breakfast Makes ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut
Watch Michelle Zauner lead Japanese Breakfast through “Be Sweet” and more.

Japanese Breakfast made their Saturday Night Live debut last night. The band led by Michelle Zauner performed songs from their 2021 album, Jubilee, on the SNL season finale.
Jubilee arrived in June 2021. The LP garnered Japanese Breakfast a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album and the band was also nominated for Best New Artist.

For Japanese Breakfast’s first SNL appearance, Zauner led the group through the album’s second track, “Be Sweet.” Japanese Breakfast delivered the record’s opening track, “Paprika,” for their final performance.
