NBC’s The Voice returned on Monday with the singing competition’s first “remote episode.” Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor made an appearance to perform his own “Shower The People” with The Voice contestants.
Monday’s episode began with the “Shower The People” isolation video as both James Taylor and each of the remaining The Voice contestants filmed their parts while sheltering. Taylor is serving as the show’s “mega mentor” this season. Thunderstorm Artis, the brother of Ron Artis II, was among the contests who contributed to the take on JT’s 1976 hit.
