Jam Cruise Schedule Revealed | Masters Camp Allstars To Perform

We’re getting closer and closer to January 4, the day Jam Cruise 12 departs from Miami packed to the gills with music fans and many of our favorite artists. Yesterday, Jam Cruise organizers unveiled the schedule and there are many tough decisions for cruisers. Thankfully, the venues are close enough that you aren’t tied into one performance as you would be at a festival where vast distances separate stages.

One thing that caught our eye on the just-revealed schedule is a performance set to close out the Pool Deck from 1:15 a.m. -2:45 a.m. on the night of Wednesday, January 8, just hours before jam cruisers disembark. One of the changes on Jam Cruise 12 as compared to previous trips is the addition of the Masters Camp At Sea program. Jam legends Butch Trucks, Kofi Burbridge, Col. Bruce Hampton, Luther and Cody Dickinson and Victor Wooten will lead workshops, master classes and jam sessions throughout the trip for those opting to take part in the program. After the week of improvisation and rehearsal the six musicians (or faculty if you will) will play that final Pool Deck set which will be open to all jam cruisers. Also of note, Conspirator / Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein will spin a set in the disco as “BROWNIE” starting at 3 a.m. on the night of Tuesday, January 7.

The full schedule is viewable at the Jam Cruise website.
