Jackie Greene Releases Video For ‘Trust Somebody’

Singer-songwriter Jackie Greene released his first new studio album in five years, Back To Birth, through Yep Roc Records on August 21. Greene has shared a video for one of the album’s singles, “Trust Somebody.”
Greene’s seventh studio album and first for Yep Roc, Back To Birth was recorded at Supernatural Sound in Portland, Oregon and produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos fame.
“I”ve always wanted to write a song like ‘Trust Somebody’,” Greene told Paste which premiered the video. “It’s a pretty powerful sentiment and I tried to distill some fairly complex ideas about the circular nature of life, love and luck and present them with as much honesty as possible.”
