Milky Chance and Jack Johnson paired up remotely to serve as the musical guests on Wednesday’s at-home edition of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The German pop band and famed singer-songwriter performed their collaborative single “Don’t Let Me Down.”

The four members of Milky Chance filmed their contributions at different locations and employed the use of glass bottles and other unconventional instruments while Jack Johnson stuck to singing and playing guitar.

The studio version of “Don’t Let Me Down” was released as a single last month. “You end up crossing paths with a lot of great musicians while out on the road. If you’re lucky those encounters lead to friendships which lead to creating music,” Johnson said when “Don’t Let Me Down” came out. “That’s how it was with the Milky Chance crew. Putting out a new song with some new friends is always exciting.”
