J Mascis Covers Tom Petty Live On KEXP

J Mascis covered Tom Petty’s “A Woman In Love (It’s Not Me)” during a live session at KEXP studio in Seattle. The Dinosaur Jr. guitarist’s solo session also featured songs from his solo album Elastic Days.

Mascis played the song from Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers’ 1981 album Hard Promises at his appearance at the independent radio station back on November 2. The set included the Elastic Days title track, as well as fellow album cuts “See You At The Movies” and “Web So Dense.” Watch all four songs below:
