J Mascis Guests With Kurt Vile On ‘Colbert’

Philadelphia indie-rocker Kurt Vile was one of many performers who sat-in with Dinosaur Jr. during a guest-filled residency at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City that concluded last night. Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis returned the favor by guesting with Vile as part of Kurt’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert debut on Wednesday night.

Kurt Vile and his band performed “Pretty Pimpin'” off the critically-acclaimed recent release b’lieve i’m goin down…. Mascis left his guitar at home as he contributed backing vocals and synth to Vile’s version of “Pretty Pimpin’.” Watch how it went down:
