Watch Infant Groove Hard When The Band’s ‘Ophelia’ Plays

Earlier this year Lindsay Kruger posted video of her young daughter blissing out in a car seat when The Band’s “Ophelia” was played over the vehicle’s stereo. The youngster’s joyous reaction to the Levon Helm-sung song from The Band’s 1975 studio album Northern Lights – Southern Cross was just too cute not to share:

“Ophelia” was the last truly great song released by The Band and became a staple of the group’s setlists for their final tour which ended with The Last Waltz. Levon loved playing and singing “Ophelia” and performed the tune at most of his Levon Helm Band shows over the last decade of his life at Midnight Rambles and beyond.
