The Infamous Stringdusters Announce April 2021 Socially Distanced Concerts
The Infamous Stringdusters will assemble for two weekends in April to play socially distanced concerts. The band’s first shows of 2021 will take place in Virginia and North Carolina.
Up first comes a three-night run at B Chord Brewing Company in Round Hill, Virginia spanning April 16 – 18. The Infamous Stringdusters then head to Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in Union Grove, North Carolina for shows on April 23 and 24.
Sierra Hull and Justin Moses open for the ‘Dusters at Van Hoy on the 23rd with The Travelin’ McCourys kicking off the action on the 24th. “We’ve had a year of communication with each other and our management and what we’re comfortable with, and what we think is responsible in regards to shows,” explained The Infamous Stringdusters’ Andy Hall. “That is one of the strange parts of the pandemic: planning anything has been so hard. So, having something solid to look forward to is fantastic. You realize as a musician how much the live, in-person connection with fans is motivating. We’ve been missing that!
“We’ve been at this quite awhile, and I think in some ways we were ready for some home time. We all have people in our lives we wanted to spend more time with, and this pandemic did have a silver lining as far as family time goes,” added Hall. “All of the Dusters have been really active making music at home during the last year. Both writing and recording. Guys releasing solo records and our band releasing a variety of projects. For us, it’s like breathing. It’s what we do!”
Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 26 at 10 a.m. ET here for the shows in North Carolina. Head to the ticketing page for details on safety protocols. Information on tickets and safety procedures for B Chord will be revealed soon via TheStringdusters.com.
