Indy Eleven Announce Grateful Dead Night

Indianapolis’ professional soccer team, the Indy Eleven, have announced they will host a special celebration of the Grateful Dead during their next home game on Saturday, June 22. Dubbed “A Grateful Evening,” notably, the event marks the first Grateful Dead night ever hosted by any soccer team worldwide.
For the match, the Indy Eleven will face off against Atlanta United 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium at 7 p.m. For fans who purchase the Grateful Dead-themed ticket package, they will have a choice between receiving a split scarf or a concert-style game poster (or both), which feature a stylized combination of the band and team’s logos.

Ahead of the bout, the team will host a special Indy Eleven “Shakedown” Tailgate, presented by The Mousetrap Bar & Grill. Starting at 5 p.m. at the Jobsite Supply Lot, which is located on Missouri Street across from the stadium’s southwest gate, Indianapolis band Starcat will play a special performance paying tribute to the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band.
Furthermore, Indy Eleven will continue their celebration of the Grateful Dead during Dead & Company‘s upcoming concert at on Wednesday, June 12, at Noblesville, Indiana’s Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. Fans will be able to get a first glimpse at the limited-edition items available at the team’s Grateful Evening as well as get more information about the event.
