Ibrahim Maalouf Delivers Enchanting Performance ‘Live On KEXP’
Watch the trumpeter perform songs from his upcoming album Trumpets of Michel-Ange and more.

French-Lebanese trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf swung by KEXP studios back in April to perform for the Seattle listener-supported radio station’s Live on KEXP series. The Grammy-nominated artist artist offered songs from his upcoming album, Trumpets of Michel-Ange, and more.
Trumpets of Michel-Ange (Trumpets of Michelangelo) is due out on September 20. Maalouf along with saxophonist Mihai Pirvan and guitarist Francois Delporte launched their Live on KEXP session with the snappy “Fly With Me,” off the forthcoming record. Vocalist Lily Maalouf then joined for “Far Away.”

Next, the trio continued with “Feeling Good” off Maalouf’s acclaimed, guest-filled 2022 album Capacity to Love. Ibrahim fittingly concluded the session with the somber “Au Revoir” off Trumpets of Michel-Ange.
