Hurray for the Riff Raff appeared on CBS Mornings on Saturday. The project led by Alynda Segarra performed songs from Hurray For The Riff Raff’s new album, The Past Is Still Alive.

The Past Is Still Alive arrived on February 23 via Nonesuch Records. Produced by Brad Cook, the album contained contributions from Hand Habits’ Meg Duffy, Anjimile and S.G. Goodman. Mike Mogis mixed and also played on the record with his Bright Eyes bandmate Conor Oberst adding backing vocals on a track

Alynda Segarra’s CBS Saturday Sessions play marked their first television appearance around The Past Is Still Alive. Segarra led their band — which included renowned musician NNAMDÏ on bass — through the album’s lead single “Alibi” along with standouts “Hawkmoon” and “Buffalo.”
