Howard Jones & ABC Outline Joint 2024 North American Summer Tour With Haircut 100

The new wave sounds of the ’80s will fill venues across North America this summer as Howard Jones and ABC announced plans for a co-headlining tour. Additionally, Haircut 100 will open each show, marking the first time the original lineup will perform for U.S. and Canadian crowds in over 40 years.

“I’m very excited to be hitting the road with my friends ABC and Haircut 100. Our audiences can look forward to some seriously top tunes night after night! Bring your celebratory selves to the party.” stated Howard Jones. The man behind such classics as “Things Can Only Get Better,” “No One Is To Blame,” “Everlasting Love” and “Life In One Way” will be joined by his longtime band.

Get ready for an unforgettable musical journey as we bring the hits to stages nationwide,” enthused ABC frontman Martin Fry. Members of Fry’s U.S. and UK touring ensembles will be augmented by a horn section and additional players this summer.

“Ever since our last tour in 1982 we’ve been pining to play in North America again, so this is a dream come true for us. Come down early and get your dancing shoes on, because there’s a lot of catching up to do,” added Haircut 100’s Nick Heyward. The band’s Pelican West album featured singles that hit the charts around the world in 1982 and 1983. Then, Heyward left to embark on a successful solo career.

Howard Jones, ABC and special guests Haircut 100 kick off the 13-date, three-week tour on August 14 with a concert at Marymoor Live in Redmond, Washington. Stops in Sandy City, Utah on August 17 and Las Vegas on August 18 follow before a swing into California for shows in Inglewood on August 20 and Del Mar on August 21.

After a few days off, the excursion resumes in Oklahoma City on August 24. Jones, ABC and Haircut 100 then hit Columbus on August 28, Windsor (Ontario) on August 29, Niagara Falls (Ontario) on August 30 and Cleveland on August 30. The tour concludes in the Northeast with dates in Montclair (New Jersey) on September 4, Port Chester (New York) on September 5 and Huntington (New York) on September 6.
