Hot Tuna Confirms Fall Tour 2021 With David Grisman Trio

Hot Tuna will embark on their Fall Tour 2021 with support from David Grisman and his trio later this year. The tour, rescheduled from Summer 2020 and initially postponed to Summer 2021 due to the pandemic, currently spans November 24 – December 9.

All performances will feature Electric Hot Tuna, consisting of co-founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady along with drummer Justin Guip. Legendary mandolinist David Grisman is joined in The David Grisman Trio by his son, Sam Grisman and Danny Barnes.

The tour is presently scheduled to begin at The Birchmere in Washington D.C. on November 24. Stops in Huntington, New York; Great Barrington, Massachusetts; Boston and Burlington, Vermont follow to close out November.

Electric Hot Tuna and The David Grisman Trio kick off December at The Egg in Albany on the 1st. The two three-piece bands then perform in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania; Port Chester, New York; Red Bank, New Jersey; Pittsburgh and Kent, Ohio. On December 9, Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati will host what is currently scheduled as the final show of the run.

Original tickets will be honored at the new dates.
