Holly Bowling Covers Allman Brothers Band, Phish & Grateful Dead ‘Alone Together’

Holly Bowling delivered an Alone Together livestream concert on Thursday, May 28 as part of her Living Room Sessions series. The pianist offered up covers from theThe Allman Brothers Band, Phish and the Grateful Dead.
Bowling kicked off the Alone Together session with her piano rendition of the Duane Allman-composed guitar instrumental, “Little Martha,” from ABB’s iconic 1972 album, Eat A Peach. Bowling then delivered the GD favorite “Help On The Way”/”Slipknot!” ahead of Phish’s poignant “Dirt.” A stellar arrangement of the Phil Lesh-composed Dead deep cut “Unbroken Chain” followed before Holly returned to Phish with “Piper.” Bowling then finished up the classic GD trifecta with “Slipknot!” into “Franklin’s Tower.” Holly closed out the livestream with Phish’s “Waste.”
