The Hold Steady has confirmed a series of summer tour dates. Up first is a concert in honor of the 10th anniversary of the band’s Stay Positive album, with a Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition of the LP in the works. The run has been dubbed “Constructive Summer” after a track from Stay Positive.
On July 25, The Hold Steady will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Stay Positive at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey. “We were looking for a venue closest to where we recorded the Stay Positive album, and we found this amazing place. It’s our plan to play all the songs from the Stay Positive album, along with a bunch of other Hold Steady songs,” reads a note from the band. From there, the group heads to Philadelphia for a pair of shows at Union Transfer on July 26 and 27. The first run of the summer ends at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey on July 28.
