Hiss Golden Messenger, Chris Hillman & Herb Pedersen Cover Tom Petty For eTown

Hiss Golden Messenger was a recent guest on an episode of the eTown radio program that also featured a performance by Chris Hillman & Herb Pedersen. The pair acts came together for the show’s finale performance of Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers.”
Hiss Golden Messenger founder MC Taylor led the group on a trio of songs from the 2017 album Hallelujah Anyhow, one from 2014’s Lateness Of Dancers and a cover of Blind Willie Johnson’s “Latter Rain Done Fallen On Me.” Hillman, who was a co-founding member of The Byrds, and his longtime collaborator Pedersen took the stage eTown Hall in Boulder, Colorado and performed “Here She Comes Again,” “Given All I Can See” and The Byrds’ “The Bells Of Rhymney,” which appeared on Hillman’s 2017 album Bidin’ My Time.
